Our personalities are developed through our experiences in life and at no time are we more plastic than in childhood.  Those experiences, positive and negative, form our sense of self. Are we are just an extension of our childhood selves?

I chose to use the Japanese embroidery technique Boro, which was used for repairing clothes and textiles, as it resonated with the idea of the taking apart and re–patching of family relationships.
